Psyllium plantain Orzeszek

Psyllium plantain, also known as African plantain, comes from the Mediterranean region. It grows in North Africa and West Asia. The color of plantain seeds ranges from light brown to very dark brown. It has very similar properties to linseed. The high fiber content stimulates the digestive tract, improves intestinal peristalsis and speeds up the metabolism. Psyllium seed also lowers the level of bad cholesterol in the blood. It is an excellent addition to a vegetarian and vegan diet. It can also be an addition to various dishes: soups, sauces, muesli, pastries or desserts.
